Two weeks left boys. Its sad to say however that then entire NFC is now playing for seeding or Division Titles only. While in the AFC, there is one remaining Division Title up for grabs as well as one wildcard spot left to be won between 3 teams.
Atlanta Falcons at Dallas Cowboys
Easily the best game this week. The Cowboys must win out to ensure a playoff spot. Whoever loses this week will essentially be done. The Cowboys will literally be out of the playoff hunt while the Falcons will have only an outside chance.
New York Giants at San Francisco 49ers
The Giants have had a rough year losing close games followed by blowouts. The 49ers have lost to the Indians, Steelers and Eagles (3 of the top 4 scoring teams). All they need to do is win this week to lock up the division and start focusing on the playoffs.
San Diego Chargers at Philadelphia Eagles
The Chargers have no chance to make the playoffs. But the Eagles are still fighting for a chance to win their division and avoid the turmoil of a tie breaker against the Cowboys/Falcons (in which they lose to both). Need to win and have the 49ers lose to make next weeks matchup between the two be for all the marbles.
Arizona Cardinals at Oakland Raiders
Part 1 of 4 NFC games. Both the next two games are essentially of the same importance. Cardinals is looking up at Panthers but will own the Division Record tie breaker if they finish the season with the same record.
Green Bay Packers at Carolina Panthers
Part 1 of 4 NFC games. The Panthers really need to win out to ensure the division title. Should be too hard since they swept the division early in the year.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers at St Louis Rams
Part 3 of 4 NFC games. Rams needs to lose out not to win the title. Slight pressure on him.
Houston Oilers at New Orleans Saints
Part 4 of 4 NFC games. Oilers needs help from the Rams and sweet winning streak to tae the division title.
Oorang Indians at Pittsburgh Steelers
How is this game at the bottom? Two of the top four in average scoring and two division rivals? Well the Indians has already locked up both the division title and #1 seed in the AFC. The Steelers have already locked up a playoff spot and are only playing to remain the #3 seed in the AFC. There is NOTHING to play for in this game.
